Of the 8,760 hours in any given year, we spend on average 2,900 sleeping, 3,265 working, 1,821 running errands/amusing ourselves (including emailing, facebooking, twittering, teetering, betwixting and texting among other sundry pleasures) and 750 hours commuting. which leaves exactly 24 hours each week.
